There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of varieties of wood to be used for custome pens. The ones listed here are ones that I have personally used and have found to be well suited for size of the final product. In general, since there is realatively little surface area on a pen, woods with tight patterns generally work best as they tend to offer more character.
